Marvel and “12 Years a Slave” director John Ridley are reportedly teaming on a secret superhero TV series.
Details are being kept under wraps, but it’s believed the series would serve as some kind of relaunch for an existing Marvel character. ABC, who house “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D” and “Agent Carter”, are behind the show.
The series would keep Ridley at AMC, where he’s currently overseeing anthology series “American Crime”.
Internet scuttlebut suggests the show could be a small-screen version of the “Punisher” comic book or even a “Deathlok” series that spins off from “S.H.I.E.L.D”.
