Christian Bale is in talks to star in Michael Mann’s long-in-the-works biopic on Enzo Ferrari.
The project, which adapts 1991 book ‘Enzo Ferrari: The Man, The Cars, The Race, The Machine’, will be shopped to buyers and financiers during the Toronto Film Festival and other markets, The Hollywood Reporter reports.
The movie would detail the rise of the mogul.
A second Ferrari project, “Go Like Hell” set to star Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt with Joseph Kosinski attached as director, collapsed because of an escalating budget.
The Ferrari movie would mark the second coming-together of Bale and Mann following the John Dillinger biopic “Public Enemies”.
