Dwayne Johnson, New Line reunite for action-comedy

Following their success with “San Andreas”, Dwayne Johnson and New Line Cinema have reunited for an untitled action comedy vehicle for Dwayne Johnson at FlynnPictureCo., Olive Bridge Entertainment and Seven Bucks Productions.

Per Deadline, plot is still cloaked though the flick is said to be akin to an ’80s buddy action comedy – a’la “Midnight Run”, “48 Hours”.

Will Gluck (“Easy A”) directs from a project written by Dave Callaham (“The Expendables”).

Johnson is currently shooting the big screen version of classic small screen smash “Baywatch”.
