“John Wick” co-director David Leitch will helm the “Deadpool” sequel.
Heat Vision reports that Leitch’s deal has closed. He steps in for “Deadpool” helmer Tim Miller, who departed the project over differences with star Ryan Reynolds.
Leitch’s name was mentioned a couple of days back as a possible replacement, alongside Rupert Sanders, Drew Goodard and Magnus Martens.
The 20th Century Fox flick begins production early next year; it’ll be released 2018.
