Girl Meets World – is it really done?

The “Full House” team may have received good news over the Christmas break, but the cast of fellow family-series revival “Girl Meets World” (a sequel series to ’90s hit “Boy Meets World”) might’ve found pink slips under their tree last week.

According to series co-star and sometime director Rider Strong (‘Shaun’), the Disney Channel has canned the show.

On his podcast Literary Disco, Strong said that they’d “finished the third season of Girl Meets World—my brother and I were directing a lot of episodes and I acted in a couple—and the show ended.”

The show’s writers took to Twitter to calm down upset fans – but that didn’t mean flat out refuting the claims.
