Ryan Reynolds and co-writer Rhett Reese have confirmed via Twitter that the production for “Deadpool 2” has indeed begun.
The casting for the flick has slowly but surely been trickling out, yet a lot of details for the flick have been largely under wraps, including plot and the characters that some of the actors will be playing.
Reynolds’ tweet set the internet into a frenzy, as he posed as Deadpool outside the Vancouver mansion that forms the X-Mansion for the “X-Men” film series.
The cast for “Deadpool 2” includes Josh Brolin as Canle, Zazie Beetz as Domino, and Jack Kesy as a villain who is as yet unnamed, as well as Shioli Kutsuna as another unnamed role. Returning from the first film are Morena Baccarin as Deadpool’s love interest Vanessa, Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, and Stefan Kapicic as the voice of Colossus.
The film is set for release June 1, 2018.
