Travolta’s Gotti pulled from Lionsgate

“Gotti” biopic from Lionsgate – who were set to release the John Gotti bio in nine days under their Lionsgate Premiere label – and is now shopping the film to other distribs.

According to Deadline, who heard the news firsthand from Travolta, producers Emmett/Furla/Oasis exercised a buy-back clause in the distribution agreement and are now looking to release the film wide next May.

Directed by Kevin Connolly, “Gotti” stars Travolta as the head of the Gambino crime family with Kelly Preston, Pruitt Taylor Vince, Stacy Keach, and Spencer Lofranco co-starring in a film penned by Leo Rossi and Lem Dobbs.
