Mark Hamill, Ron Perlman, and Samoa Joe have joined the cast of the new “Transformers” mini-series, Machinima’s “Transformers: Power of the Primes”.
Hamill, no stranger to the ”Transformers” franchise, having voiced a guest role in the ”Transformers: Rescue Bots” series in 2014, plays the first Decepticon Megatronus, exiled from Cybertron after murdering one of the other original Thirteen Primes. Hamill made his debut as the character on an episode of “Titans Return” today.
“Hellboy” star Perlman will voice Optimus Primal, while WWE’s Samoa Joe is Predaking.
Mikey Way, Jamie King, and Gregg Berger have also lent their lungs to the new series.
“Transformers: Power of the Primes” – the third in Machinima and Hasbro’s ”Transformers: Prime Wars Trilogy” – is set to premiere in the Spring.
