Former child actor Cole Sprouse (“Big Daddy”, “Riverdale”) has settled on his first film as an adult actor.
A co-star of The CW’s Archie series, Sprouse kicked off his career from the age of 8, sharing roles with twin brother Dylan Sprouse in the likes of “Grace Under Fire”, “Big Daddy” and “Master of Disguise”. The two brothers appeared alongside each other on Disney Channel’s “Suite Life of Zack & Cody”.
“Five Feet”, a romantic drama from CBS Films, will be Sprouse’s first film since making his comeback as Jughead on “Riverdale”.
Justin Baldoni’s film centers on ”two young people who meet and fall in love while being treated for their illnesses, knowing that they are both living on borrowed time. The story is described as being uplifting and about the people who help make every moment count as well as the transcendent power of love”, says THR.
Sprouse would play one half of the couple.
Mikki Daughtry (“The Children”) and Tobias Iaconis (“Sleep Tight”) scripted.
The film will lens in the Spring.
