Tarantino’s “Once Upon A Time in Hollywood” boasts an amazing cast, and a first look at two of its heavyweights has just been revealed by Leonardo DiCaprio on social media. The pic shows himself and Brad Pitt in character.
While plot details are being kept largely under wraps, the film is being described as “a story that takes place in Los Angeles in 1969, at the height of hippy Hollywood. The two lead characters are Rick Dalton (DiCaprio), former star of a western TV series, and his longtime stunt double Cliff Booth (Pitt). Both are struggling to make it in a Hollywood they don’t recognize anymore. But Rick has a very famous next-door neighbor, Sharon Tate,” per Quentin Tarantino.
The massive cast also includes Timothy Olyphant, Al Pacino, Burt Reynolds, Damian Lewis, Luke Perry, Dakota Fanning, James Marsden, Clifton Collins, Keith Jefferson, Emile Hirsch, Tim Roth, Michael Madsen, Scoot McNairy, Nicholas Hammond and Margot Robbie as Sharon Tate.
“Once Upon A Time in Hollywood” is slated for release August 9, 2019 – the 50th anniversary of Sharon Tate’s death.
