Following the success of “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle”, it came as no surprise that a sequel was quickly confirmed. The flick, which starred Dwayne Johnson and Jack Black, was a box office hit, and cemented a third “Jumanji” film – the first being the original Robin Williams classic in 1995.
Johnson has now confirmed the release date of the 3rd film to be December 13, 2019. Director Jake Kasdan is expected to return while it has already been confirmed that cowriters Jeff Pinkner and Scott Rosenberg are returning. Also returning are main characters Smolder Bravestone (Dwayne Johnson), Ruby Roundhouse (Karen Gillan), Sheldon Oberon (Jack Black), and Franklin Finbar (Kevin Hart) – as well as new characters.
No news what the new title will be, but may I suggest “Jumanji: Paradise City” or “Jumanji: November Rain”.
