Universal Pictures has taken Chris Pratt’s latest action-comedy flick “Cowboy Ninja Viking” off their 2019 release schedule, without giving it another date. This doesn’t mean the project is dead and buried, but it remains to be seen when/if it will go into production.
The original date was set at June 28, 2019, and recently Priyanka Chopra came aboard the project. Word is that it’s still in active development.
The flick, which is based on a graphic novel by AJ Lieberman, saw Pratt in the lead role of an assassin who can manifest the best skills of all three personas. Michelle MacLaren is in the director’s chair.
