Ben Affleck is in negotiations to star in Warner Bros’ “The Accountant”, reports Variety.
The action thriller centres on a mild-mannered accountant who moonlights as a lethal assassin.
The film has long been in development limbo. Will Smith was previously attached to the project when it was at Sony and Warner Bros’ had the film before that, with Mel Gibson attached to direct.
As for whether it will get off the ground this time, only time will tell. For now, Affleck’s “Gone Girl” hits Aussie cinemas today.
