“Straight Outta Compton” star Jason Mitchell is in negotiations to join “Kong: Skull Island”.
Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson, Toby Kebbell and Mitchell’s “Straight Outta Compton” co-star Corey Hawkins are set to star under the direction of Jordan Vogt-Roberts.
According to THR, Mitchell will play “an easy going pilot”.
Producers are Legendary’s Thomas Tull & Jon Jashni with Mary Parent. Alex Garcia and Eric McLeod are exec producers.
Production has been slated to take place in Hawaii from late October with the film due for release on March 10, 2017.
