Arrested Development a go for season 5

Netflix will show Arrested Development season 5 in 2018, 5 years after we last saw season 4.

Executive producer Ron Howard confirmed the news with an enthusiastic “hell yes!”, following complex negotiations with the cast and production that have taken years to finalise.

All key cast members will return, including Jason Bateman, Michael Cera, Jeffrey Tambor, Jessica Walter, Will Arnett, Tony Hale, Portia de Rossi, David Cross and Alia Shawka. The series centres around Michael Bluth (Bateman) and his eccentric family. Season 4 ended with a good setup for a 5th season, with a murder and subsequent arrest, so fans will be happy to finally get the next piece of the pie.

Our favourite unconventional family will return to our screens on Netflix in 2018.
