Producer John Davis (“Predator”) is relaunching the “Shaft” brand.
New Line will bring back to the screen the character played by Richard Roundtree and Samuel L.Jackson, respectively.
The Wrap isn’t sure whether the new film will be connected to the 2000 film, which starred Jackson as the nephew of Roundtree’s original NYC Cop. One thing is for sure, a younger actor is sought for the lead. Listening Tyrese!?
