Michael Keaton, on the verge of a stupendous comeback thanks to an amazing performance in the equally impressive “Birdman”, is in talks to join the cast of “Kong : Skull Island”.
Deadline says Keaton is finalizing his deal to join Tom Hiddleston (”Thor”) and JK Simmons (”Whiplash”) in the Jordan Vogt-Roberts directed movie.
The film tells of a team of explorers who venture deep inside the treacherous, primordial island that plays host to King Kong, among others. No word if Keaton is playing one of the explorers or someone off-island.
