Nestor Carbonell joins the cast of “The Dark Knight”
I was actually just having this tête-à-tête with my wife recently – the question of ‘why Nestor Carbonell left TVs What About Brian?’
And you know what? I think the answer is right in front of me.
Not only is Carbonell now a seemingly permanent fixture on a show-that-isn’t-being-axed (“Lost”) as well as a member of the the upcoming series “Case” with Jimmy Smits, but he’s also scored a plum part in the rather illustrious “Dark Knight”. Seems he left the just-axed-series for good reason – the offers were starting to rain down like frogs in “Magnolia”!
Carbonell, who many remember for his role on the short-lived sitcom “The Tick” (Yep, he played Batmanuel!), will play the Mayor of Gotham City. Bound to get a couple of scenes with the guy in the Cape.
