Behold Days of Future Past‘s Beast!

Bryan Singer has some pics of Nicholas Hoult on his computer… and they’ve got trusty fans smiling from ear to ear.

But that’s another story…from behind another of the folder icons to be found on Bry’s iBook.

Speaking of,the “X-Men : Days of Future Past” director has tweeted a look at Hoult’s new look, as ‘The Beast’, for the “First Class” sequel.

One might say the look makes our Smurf-coloured friend look a bit more ‘human’, than the animalistic hero we were presented with in Matthew Vaughn’s “X-Men” prequel. We’re now talking Joel Schumacher-style nipples on costumes or anything, just a quaint ‘Oh, I can see the fellow under all that blue fluff’ touching up.

Now that Singer’s back in charge of the “X-Men” franchise, he’s gonna do things his way it seems – and good on him; as Liberace said, “I like an X-Men filmmaker who knows what he wants”.

Hoult, fresh off the fantastic “Warm Bodies”, won’t be the only “X-Men” cast member blessed with a new look for this one; Jennifer Lawrence complained of an allergic reaction to the jumpsuit she had to slip on in “First Class” (Liam Neeson complained of a rash after working with Bradley Cooper on “A-Team”, are you sure this… Oh, you are? Okay), so Singer’s decided not to displease an Oscar Winner and modify it for her this time around.

“Days of Future Past”, which combines the cast of “First Class” with the original “X-Men” movies, features more stars than Elton John’s Oscar party – aside from Hoult (“Warm Bodies”) and Lawrence (“Silver-Linings Playbook”) there’s old trustable Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Sir Ian McKellan, Halle Berry, Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Ellen Page, Anna Paquin, Shawn Asmore, Omar Sy, Booboo Stewart, Daniel Cudmore, Bingbing Fan (think they’re available at IKEA, actually), and Peter Dinklage, who must be getting use to working with extravagant special and visual effects by now, having worked alongside Pete Helliar on “I Love You Too”.
