Has Simon Pegg just confirmed an ostensibly top secret cameo in “Star Wars : The Force Awakens”?
Speaking at the premiere of his new flick “Man Up”, the “Star Trek” actor was asked whether he shot a cameo in friend (and “Trek” director) J.J Abrams’ upcoming “Star Wars” sequel. Rumour had it that Pegg put on a stormtrooper costume.
“I wasn’t a stormtrooper. Daniel Craig, he was a stormtrooper… I shouldn’t have said that.”‘
But later Pegg clarified his statement, suggesting he was only repeating rumours he’d heard online.
“Why is everyone leaping on this? It was a rumour last summer, wasn’t it? I read it in the paper. It may be untrue, like most of the other rumours, like Cumberbatch and Cruise being in it.”
