Bill Hader is circling Judd Apatow’s “Trainwreck”.
Variety says the former “Saturday Night Live” regular would take on a leading role in the movie, playing opposite previously-announced Amy Schumer.
Written by Schumer, and developed and produced by Apatow, the movie – the plot of which is being kept under wraps for now – is skedded for July 24, 2015.
The film would mark somewhat of a reunion for Hader and Apatow – both worked on “Superbad”, “Forgetting Sarah Marshall”, “The Pineapple Express”, and “Year One”.
Hader, whose film work includes “AdventureLand”, “Superbad”, and “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2”, next appears in “The Skelton Twins” with Kristen Wiig.
