Billy Crudup joins cast of Where’d You Go, Bernadette?

No, this isn’t an article about Billy Crudup’s involvement in “The Flash”. Crudup will join Kristen Wiig and Cate Blanchett in “Where’d You Go, Bernadette?”, a Richard Linklater directed film.

The film will be based on a novel (isn’t everything these days?!) by Maria Semple, which focuses on a mother named Bernadette, who disappears and her teenaged daughter is left to pick up the pieces.

Blanchett will play the disappearing title character, while Crudup will play Elgie, and Wiig playing Audrey. The flick will be directed by Annapurna, Nina Jacobson, Brad Simpson and Ginger Sledge, while Linklater also wrote the script.
