Laura Vandervoort, Michael Xavier, Greggory Bryk, Greyston Holt, Steve Lund – Bitten

Created by Daegan Fryklind and based upon the “Women of the Other World” book series written by Kelley Armstrong “Bitten” follows the story of Elena Michaels (Laura Vandervoort), a seemingly normal girl trying to live an ordinary life and make a name for herself as a photographer in Toronto. Life is going well for the young woman until one day she receives a phone call from a family member asking her to return to her home in upstate New York. That’s when it hits her; an ordinary life is a pipedream when you’re the only female werewolf alive. Faced with the decision to return home to aid her pack – Nick (Steve Lund), Jeremy (Greggory Bryk, credited as Greg Bryk), Logan (Michael Xavier) and Clayton (Greyston Holt) who also happens to be her ex-fiancé – or stay in Toronto with her fiancé Philip (Paul Greene) she makes the bold choice to try to live a dual life and maintain her loyalty to her pack while keeping everything she has in Toronto. After she returns to New York the past she worked so hard to escape begins to catch up with her, and she realizes she will eventually have to choose a world to exist in or face the consequences of her two lives colliding.

This past October at New York Comic Con 2014 I had the pleasure of sitting down for a brief discussion with cast members Vandervoort, Xavier, Bryk, Holt and Lund. They talked to me about what we can expect to see this season, off-camera “pack-hood” and the beasts within their characters. You can hear the interview by clicking the link below.

Note: due to the recordings available for editing there is some feedback and vocal distortion during the interview.
