Brie Larson eyeing Short Term gig with Judd Apatow

Up-and-comer Brie Larson (“Short Term 12”, “21 Jump Street”) looks set to join Judd Apatow’s next.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Indie Spirit Award nominee (for 2013’s “Short Term 12”) is in negotiations to join Amy Schumer and Bill Hader in Universal’s “Trainwreck”. The comedy, co-conceived by Schumer, is skedded for a July 24, 2015 release.

Larson, who co-stars alongside Mark Wahlberg in the upcoming “The Gambler”, also appeared in “The Spectacular Now” and “Don Jon”.
