Casting: Pfeiffer & Gleeson, The Mummy, Spider-Man: Homecoming

Michelle Pfeiffer, Ed Harris, Domhnall Gleeson and his brother Brian Gleeson are in talks to join Jennifer Lawrence and Javier Bardem in writer/direct Darren Aronofsky’s untitled Paramount Pictures drama.

The film centres on a couple whose relationship is tested when uninvited guests come to their home and disrupt their lives.

The film will likely release in 2017 with production set to kick off in June.

Courtney B. Vance (“The People vs. OJ Simpson”) has joined Tom Cruise, Sofia Boutella, Annabelle Wallis and Jake Johnson in the cast of Universal’s “The Mummy” reboot.

The reboot is set in the present day and features a female Mummy (played by Boutella).

Set for release on June 9, 2017, the film is directed by Alex Kurtzman from a script by Jon Spaihts.

Laura Harrier and Tony Revolori have been added to the cast of “Spider-Man: Homecoming”.

According to Deadline, Revolori will play “Peter Parker’s nemesis/enemy at high school” and TheWrap reports Harrier’s role is “significant”, but doesn’t give further details.

Jon Watts is directing “Spider-Man Homecoming” which stars Tom Holland in the titular role with Marisa Tomei on board to play Aunt May and Zendaya as a character named Michelle. Michael Keaton is also in talks to play the villain.

John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein penned the script, with the film set to open on July 7, 2017.
