Bloodshot
Vin Diesel is said to be circling Sony’s “Bloodshot”. The film adaptation of the 1992 comic, being produced by Neal Moritz and Dinesh Shamdasani, would feature Diesel as a mortally wounded soldier with powers of regeneration and meta-morphing made possible through nano-machines in his bloodstream. Dave Wilson is attached to direct from a screenplay by Eric Heisserer.(The Wrap)

Shaft
“Friday Night Lights” alum Matt Laurie has joined the cast of New Line’s untitled “Shaft” sequel. The film, starring Samuel L.Jackson, Richard Roundtree and Jessie T. Usher, involves FBI agent who launches his own investigation into a friend’s death, reluctantly enlisting help from his estranged father — the legendary John Shaft. “Shaft” releases June 14, 2019. Deadpool 2
Despite allegations of sexual assault, T.J Miller’s role in the upcoming sequel won’t be recast or cut. Producer Lauren Shuler Donner told Rotten Tomatoes, “We’re in the final editing. I don’t think so.” It’s possible he mightn’t be back for future sequels though. “That’s a whole studio thing. I don’t know.” (Rotten Tomatoes)
