Casting: Sherlock, Bean & Sabongui, Schreiber & Diggs

Toby Jones will join the cast of BBC One’s “Sherlock”, set to appear in the second episode of the upcoming new three-part series.

Nick Hurran is directing episode two.

From creators and writers Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss, “Sherlock” is produced by Sue Vertue, and executive produced by Beryl Vertue, Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat for Hartswood Films, Bethan Jones for BBC Cymru Wales and Rebecca Eaton for Masterpiece.

Sean Bean and Patrick Sabongui have come on board to star in director Jason Bourque’s political thriller “Drone”.

Sabongui will play an enigmatic Pakistani businessman who tracks Bean’s character down, believing he is responsible for the deaths of his wife and child.

Bourque co-wrote the screenplay with Paul Birkett.

Liev Schreiber and Taye Diggs have joined Emily Blunt, Kristin Chenoweth, Uzo Aduba and Michael Pena in the voice cast of “My Little Pony: The Movie”.

“My Little Pony” will be released on October 6, 2017.

Jayson Thiessen is directing from a screenplay by Meghan McCarthy.

Stephen Davis and Brian Goldner are producing for Hasbro’s Allspark Pictures.
