These are cool releases though, and anyone with a Blu-Ray player (By Christmas, you'll be able to find an affordable model - believe me. They're dropping all the time) will definitely want to get their hands on them... or at least a couple of them (say, the Connery ones). [...]

I was absolutely bowled over by how good this edition looks and sounds! The speakers shook! The colours (colours I had never even noticed before - like, for instance, all the purples and bright greens!) burst! The-wires-strapped-to-the-guys-that-were-apparently-flying-through-the-air were very noticeable, too! (I guess that's a good thing? Not for the filmmakers, though). [...]

There's nothing better on the disc that the smashing sound and awesome visuals, in fact everything on here has simply been ported over from the DVD release (commentaries, deleted scenes; etc). [...]

The “Matrix” movies are just as well-known for their groundbreaking special effects as they are their sound design so I’m pleased to say the audio track/s are also Christmas-y exciting. The Dolby TrueHD 5.1 makes love to your speakers for every minute of each film – but you’ll really appreciate it in those high-effects sequences [...]
