Bits all over the place today…you should see the desk? Oh, here’s something about a “Dog Soldiers” sequel, an Aussie lass tipped for a role in “Anaconda 2”, Tank suing “The Matrix”, Confirmed release dates for the “Dracula” sequels and Jennifer Love Hewitt gets animated.

  • Creature Corner reports that a sequel to “Dog Soldiers” is happening. Called “Dog Soldiers II: Fresh Meat”, it will also be made for the big screen, whether or not the US decides its better off as a video title.

  • According to Dark Horizons, Phil Noyce is looking at adapting "American Pastoral" by author Philip Roth be his next project. ‘Pastoral’ follows a man whose seemingly living the American dream til his daughter becomes a terrorist bomber.

  • Australian actress Maria Theodorakis [Walking on Water] is tipped for a role in “Anaconda 2”, says Dark Horizons. Her publicist would neither confirm nor deny the news to Moviehole.

  • Gina Gershon, Stephen Root and "Stuttering" John Melendez will voice the SCI FI Channel’s first-ever animated series, “Tripping the Rift”, says SciFi Wire.

  • Zentertainment is reporting that Sting and Elvis Costello have recorded new songs for the soundtrack of “Cold Mountain”

  • ”Matrix”star Marcus Chong (Tank) sued the filmmakers for allegedly reneging on a promise to recast him in the sequels, The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions. Chong was apparently orally and contractually offered the part in both sequels in 1998.

  • Miramax have announced that “Dracula 2” comes out June 17 and Dracula 3 comes out January 2004.

  • Cinescape have posted photos of the “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” wrap party here – The one where everyone turned up except Buffy herself.

  • According to Screen Daily, Walden Media, which is currently in production on Jackie Chan’s Around the World in 80 Days, will be making a 3-D version of Jules Verne’s "Journey To The Center Of The Earth". Thanks to Coming Soon.

  • Jennifer Love Hewitt and Chris Kattan will voice characters for the animated adventure “Delgo”, the first independently produced computer-animated feature in the U.S, reports Coming Soon

  • MTVTalked to Keanu Reeves about “Constantine”. "[It’s] his anger. He’s angry, but he’s got a good heart," Reeves said recently of the comic book character.

  • The Z Review has details on Van Damme’s next flick “After Death”, saying “The movie is about a collision between the Triads from Shanghai and Philadelphia. This film is a first for Jean Claude Van Damme as it deals with gangsters and a sixth sense type plot. Shooting will commence this July and will be shot in Liverpool and America”.

  • Vincent D’Onofrio and Joe Pantoliano are teaming to star in "Little Victories," the feature directorial debut of film editor Leo Trombett, says the Hollywood Reporter. The film centers on a 12-year-old boy whose world view is irrevocably altered when his gangster uncle comes to stay with him after being tossed out the house by his wife.

  • Sean Hayes is set to join the cast of "Win a Date With Tad Hamilton!", opposite Kate Bosworth, Josh Duhamel, Topher Grace and Nathan Lane, says The Hollywood Reporter.

  • Backstreet Boy’ Nick Carter will star in “Hollow”, a new “Sleepy Hollow” inspired film co-starring Kaley Cuoco, Nick Turturro, Judge Reinhold, Kevin Zegers, Joseph Masiello, Eileen Brennan, Stacy Keach and Melissa Schuman.
