During the panel for “The Hateful Eight” at Comic Con today, writer-director Quentin Tarantino announced that the legendary Ennio Morricone (“The Good The Bad and the Ugly”, “Once Upon A Time in the West”) will be scoring the film. This will be Morricone’s first western score in over 40 years. Pretty huge stuff.
In addition, a new poster for the Christmas release was unveiled. Very nice!
Tarantino also noted that he has another western he wants to do, saying he has to make three in total before he’s considered a ‘western director’.
