In addition to their report on a possible “Supergirl”/”The Flash” crossover being in the works, Bleeding Cool says The CW may be bringing Matt Ryan’s John Constantine back to the small screen. Following the premature axing of NBC’s “Constantine”, The CW’s “Arrow” reached out to star Matt Ryan and had him appear on their show as the detective. Seems his appearance was effective enough to bring the character back into the fold. But it won’t be on “Arrow” – not for the large part anyway.

According to Bleeding Cool’s source, Constantine will join the “Arrow” and “Flash” spin-off “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow”. The “show is planning to radically switch casts and missions each season. As a model. it’s being compared to Justice League Unlimited cartoon. Which means it is planned for Matt Ryan‘s John Constantine to appear as a series regular in 2017’s season two”, says the site.

The site says “Vampire Diaries” alum Steven R. McQueen is also being eyed for a role on “Legends of Tomorrow”, playing an unidentified hero during it’s second season.
