Cougar Cox goes to town on her directorial debut

With the “Scream” film series reduced to rubble (or, as it would seem, an MTV series), star Courteney Cox is freed up to do a bit of a ‘Wes Craven’ herself. The former “Friends” star is directing her first flick, “Hello I Must Be Going”, based on a script by David Flebotte.

Deadline says the “Cougar Town” star has nabbed “American Pie” alum Seann William Scott and former “Private Practice” star Kate Walsh to headline.

Scott’s playing “Ted Morgan, a depressed man who heads back to his hometown to right some wrongs before committing suicide” with Walsh playing his sister-in-law.
