There’s been a lot of buzz around Marvel character Black Panther recently, particularly relating to his appearance in the upcoming “Captain America: Civil War”, but today reports are suggesting that “Creed” helmer Ryan Coogler is in talks to direct Marvel’s “Black Panther” film.
Negotiations are still underway, so the deal is not yet locked in, but should Coogler get the job he’ll be directing from a script by Joe Robert Cole. Chadwick Boseman is attached to star as the titular hero.
“Black Panther” will be released on February 16, 2018.
