CW renews Supernatural, Vampire Diaries & Arrow

The CW has granted early renewals to “Arrow”, “Supernatural” and “The Vampire Diaries”.

All three shows, hailing from Warner Bros TV, will return to the air in the Fall.

“We said last year that one of our goals was to establish building blocks to grow on, and now with our new hit Arrow and fan favorite Supernatural on Wednesday night, and the continued success of The Vampire Diaries on Thursday, we’ve been able to do that,” CW president Mark Pedowitz said (via TV Line). “Not only do Arrow, Supernatural and The Vampire Diaries perform well on-air, they’re also extremely successful for us both digitally and socially.”

Some other youth-targeted CW offerings aren’t as safe as the aforesaid trio though; “90210”, “Hart of Dixie”, “The Carrie Diaries” and “Beauty & The Beast” aren’t rating.
