D23 : Star Wars : The Last Jedi

Updated with official synopsis:

“In Lucasfilm’s Star Wars: The Last Jedi, the Skywalker saga continues as the heroes of The Force Awakens join the galactic legends in an epic adventure that unlocks age-old mysteries of the Force and shocking revelations of the past.”

Like Lando and a bag of unmarked notes, what D23 had in store for movie fans was fairly predictable – we knew we’d get a bunch of superhero updates, a tease of some of those toons-turned-live-action-flicks (that they seem to have a hard-on since “Maleficent” made more than a toothless hooker on Valentine’s), and our best look at this Christmas’s “Star Wars : The Last Jedi”.

Best fanboy orgasm came from the visual BTS reel that premiered at the event – and soon enough, online- but the posters that followed, featuring the likes of Rey, Leia and Lukey boy, spurred just as much damp trackies. See both the poster collection and behind-the-scenes featurette below.

FYI : There was nothing on the “Han Solo” standalone movie, other than it’s still on track for it’s release next year. Seems they still haven’t settled on an official title for the movie though with marketing materials still listing it as the ‘Untitled Han Solo Movie’.
