David Gordon Green is set to helm Lionsgate’s Boston Marathon bombing film “Stronger”.
This film (one of many Boston Marathon bombing projects currently in the works) centres on Jeff Bauman, a survivor who lost both his legs in the attack.
John Pollono wrote the script based on Bauman’s book co-written by Bret Witter. It tells of his experience when the bombs went off at the finish line of the marathon, his attempts at rehab and his experience as a key witness in the trial of bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.
Producers are Mandeville Films’s David Hoberman & Todd Lieberman, and Scott Silver.
