Via an Instagram post, director David F.Sandberg has revealed that production on Warner Bros’ “Shazam” has kicked off.
Filming in Vancouver, the film stars Asher Angel as Billy Batson and Zachary Levi as his heroic alter ego. Mark Strong, Ron Cephas Jones, Jack Dylan Grazer, Grace Fulton, Ian Chen and Jovan Armand are also onboard. A new rumour suggests that Henry Cavill will be making an appearance in the film as Superman.
“Shazam” is due in theaters April 5, 2019.
