Dead Silence actress joins Minority Report series

Horror staple Laura Regan (“They”, “Hollow Man 2”, “Dead Silence”) will make the transition into brainy sci-fi with “Minority Report”, FOX’s small-screen take on the Tom Cruise/Steven Spielberg flick outta the early noughties.

A sequel to the 2002 original, the series “is set 10 years after the end of Precrime in D.C. One of the three Precogs, Dash, struggles to lead a “normal” human life, but remains haunted by visions of the future, when he meets a detective, Lara Vega, who is haunted by her past who just might help him find a purpose to his gift.”

Regan’s Agatha, says Deadline, is “the deeply compassionate foster sister of identical twins Dash and Arthur. Like her brothers, she possesses the ability to see intoagathamovie the future, but with more clarity than they can.”

Samantha Morton played the role in the movie.

The series seems intent on linking itself to that original movie by ways of more than storyline, it’s recruited Daniel London to reprise his role (from the movie) as Wally the Caretaker.
