Deadpool 2 loses director following creative clash with Ryan Reynolds

“Deadpool 2” is without a director today as Tim Miller has exited the project.

Miller, who directed this year’s surprise hit “Deadpool”, has exited the sequel due to creative differences between himself and star Ryan Reynolds.

According to Deadline, the split was amicable and Miller is expected to instead begin working on another Fox project: “Influx”, an adaptation of the Daniel Suarez novel that has a script by Mark Bomback and is expected to launch a film trilogy.

While Miller hadn’t formally signed a deal to helm “Deadpool 2”, he was developing the script and reportedly planned on directing.
