STUFF reports that Danny DeVito has arrived in New Zealand, possibly to work with Tom Cruise – who is there doing "The Last Samurai" – on a new movie. I’m working on a project with Tom, but I can’t say what it is yet," De Vito said. There has been talk about Cruise planning to film an adaptation of WG Wells’ novel, The War of the Worlds, in Taranaki, but DeVito would not confirm if that was the project he and Cruise were working on.
