DiCaprio and De Niro join the C.I.A

Leonardo DiCaprio will re-team with his "This Boy’s Life" co-star Robert De Niro for "The Good Shepherd", which De Niro will direct and the "Titanic" star will headline. DiCaprio will play James Wilson, an idealistic Yale graduate recruited to become one of the founding officers of the CIA. Wilson is said to be modeled in part on former CIA counterintelligence chief James Jesus Angleton. The project will chart the history of the CIA through the Cold War, focusing on Wilson’s 40-year career, and the toll it exacts on his life and family. De Niro will also have a small role in the film, says Variety.
