At Brazil’s CCXP over the weekend, “Guardians of the Galaxy” star Vin Diesel wet the undies of a few comic book fans by suggesting we might see his character ‘Groot’ in a spin-off with both Rocket and – wait for it – The Incredible Hulk one day.
The big guy told Screen Junkies ” “I think if it’s up to James Gunn, you are going to see a Groot and Rocket movie after Infinity War. I think that’s highly possible. We shall see. I know that, somewhere in the universe, you are going to see Groot and Hulk battle. You can write it somewhere. You are going to see that poster: Hulk vs. Groot.”
Granted, Diesel’s only speculating – based on director James Gunn’s enthusiasm for the property, so there may have been a lot of puddles left behind at CCXP for nothing.
The trailer for “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” hit on the weekend and apparently scored some kind of super record in terms of trailer hits. It was bloody cute, right!?
