Drago confirmed for Creed 2

Sylvester Stallone has followed up on a recent hint that Ivan Drago (Dolph Lundgren), the iconic Russian boxer his Rocky Balboa took on in ’80s classic “Rocky IV”, will return for the “Creed” sequel.

Stallone, who is penning the script, posted a pic of some of the pages for the sequel – in turn confirming a Drago reprise – on his Instagram.

According to Sly, the script is now also complete (he now just has to post over a couple of hundred pages of handwritten notes into Final Draft).

“Creed 2” will ostensibly see Michael B.Jordan’s Adonis Creed taking on the son of the man responsible for the death of his father. Drago senior will likely be around to mentor and train his boxer son, in turn getting to lay down some thick insults in Rocko’s direction too.
