Time for a “Days of Thunder” reunion between Tom Cruise and Robert Duvall!
Who can forget the love triangle Thomas and Bob had with their wheels in that 1990 film? Here’s a refresher :
Back in July, it was a done deal for Cruise to star in Christopher McQuarrie’s “One Shot”, a thriller based on the Lee Child book series.
Variety‘s reporting that Duvall is in final negotiations to join the film. Although details about Duvall’s character weren’t revealed, insiders say it is a small role and is significant to Reacher’s story line (villain perhaps?).
In “One Shot”, Jack Reacher (Cruise), a former military policeman turned drifter, has to investigate the case of a sniper accused of murdering five people before being captured.
Duvall joins a cast that also includes Rosamund Pike, David Oyelowo, Richard Jenkins and Alexia Fast and will be released on February 8, 2013.
