Caffeinated Clint
Emily Blunt was rumoured to be one of the faves to play Marvel superheroine Captain Marvel a while back, and according to Meet the Movie Press, that’s not only still the case – but it’s a “done deal”.
If true, the “Edge of Tomorrow” actress would play Carol Danvers, an officer in the United States Air Force and Security Chief of a restricted military base who, after an explosion, finds herself packing superhuman abilities.
There’s still no director set for the 2018 “Captain Marvel” movie, let alone have we heard much else on it in a while, so chalk it up as a rumour for now. Still, why wouldn’t Marvel want Blunt?!
