“Overboard” is getting an overhaul, and Eva Longoria is the latest to join the cast. She will star alongside Anna Faris and Eugenio Derbez in the Bob Fisher and Rob Greenberg produced romantic comedy.
The film is a remake of the 1980s flick starring Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell. Deadline reports the premise of the film is that a playboy (played by Derbez) falls overboard his yacht, develops amnesia and gets convinced by a single working-class mum Kate (Faris) that they’re married. Kate’s employer and family friend Theresa will be played by Longoria.
The flick is set to begin production this week in Canada.
