Nu Image has enlisted proficient action-movie duo Isaac Florentine and Scott Adkins (the Bobby De Niro and Marty Scorsese of the martial-arts movie world, if you will!), filmmaker and actor respectively, for “Ninja 2, a sequel to their 2009 martial-arts actioner.
The follow-up to the cloaked avenger yarn, about a westerner (Adkins, “The Expendables 2”), studying Ninjutsu in Japan, who is asked by the Sensei to return to New York to protect the legendary Yoroi Bitsu, is being produced by Boaz Davidson and Frank DeMartini. Filming is due to begin early 2013.
