With thanks to eOne films, Moviehole has been provided with the splashy, spiffy brand-new character posters from the highly-anticipated new Oz made movie “The Mule”. The posters introduce us to some of the main characters in the topical and terrific film, including Angus Sampson and Leigh Whannell’s characters.
Angus Sampson, Leigh Whannell (writer of Saw, Insidious) and Hugo Weaving have teamed up on The Mule. Set in 1983 and inspired by true events, it’s is about a naïve man with lethal narcotics hidden in his stomach detailed by the police. Alone and afraid he makes a desperate choice; to defy his bodily function and withhold the evidence, literally! By doing so he becomes a human time bomb dragging cops, criminals and concerned family into his impossible escapade. It premiered to critical cudos at this years SXSW, and has screened as part of the London Film Festival and Busan in Korea. The film also stars Georgina Haig, Ewen Leslie, Geoff Morrell, Noni Hazlehurst and John Noble.
“The Mule” will be available first to digital November 21 simultaneously in Australia, USA, Canada & NZ.
