Uma Thurman is set to star in the psychological thriller “The Well”.
The long-gestating project, first announced a couple of years ago, is finally set to go before the cameras this Summer.
The clever yarn is set entirely at the bottom of a dried out well, and fixes on a woman who is tormented by a stranger outside the well, and from her own psyche, from inside. The woman, Katrinel, has amnesia and has no idea what is going on, but with two clues – an odd knife and a note which reads “Katrinel must die” – she concludes that the man on the outside wants her dead, convinced she has to kill herself to save her daughter from eternal damnation.
Misko Massanyi will direct, with Tony Krantz (”Melancholia”) directing.
