Expendables 2 co-writer rewriting Masters of the Universe

Seems the “Masters of the Universe” movie series will be forever linked to ‘The Expendables’.

Dolph Lundgren was, of course, the first actor to play He-Man on the big screen (in the 1987 film), and now word’s out that Richard Wenk, who co-wrote “The Expendables 2”, is on script duties, according to Variety.

Wenk, who also worked on “The Mechanic”, is rewriting a script that Jon M.Chu will direct.

Sony and Escape Artists’ Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal and Steve Tisch produce the film, a new take on the classic cartoon series and feature film.
